Go Nuclear! Late Model Series Action from Mohawk Hits the Air!

 

Rich Vleck, ROCHESTER, NY (August 15, 2012)- It was a long time in the making, but the Go Nuclear! Late Model Series is now ready to be seen across New York State.

 

The first edition of the Atomic Power Racing Hour will debut this week on Time Warner Cable SportsNet to approximately two million customers across Upstate New York.

 

After a heavy hail storm hit the Mohawk International Raceway back in June, a second attempt not only got in, but was highly-successful and will be the focal point of the 60-minute program.

 

Drivers with familiar names from all types of racing backgrounds battled the changing track conditions of the 4/10-mile.  Watch as many of the competitors tackle the first-class facility for the first time.

 

Along with three manned cameras and a “speed shot”, five on-board cameras were utilized throughout the night to gain stunning images and some hilarious pit footage to help make this episode complete.

 

Veteran broadcaster Doug Elkins serves as host to this new episode, walking you threw a wild night at the track. Along with calling all of the racing action from Akwesasne, Rich Vleck will break down what makes the Go Nuclear! Late Model Series so unique.  Pit Reporter Greg Birosh is also back to add insight on a night that turned out to be a thrilling night of racing.
